Benefit from enzyme kinetics modelling
Mathematical models, especially when coupled with modern computer techniques, prove to have effective practicabil8ity in searching of optimal operational conditions and creating an optimal microenvironment for the biocatalyst in order to optimise the productivity. Therefore, the study of the theoretical model for the enzyme reaction system is of an interest for the industrial application of the biocatalyst. The theoretical modelling of the enzyme kinetics and 5the reactors can be used for finding optimal operation points and to increase our knowledge about the process. The model usually contains the information on the particular bioreactions. It also includes the balancesequations for mass in the reactor. The model has to be efficient for a wide range of variations of the internal process variables. The strategy of enzyme kinetics modelling will be shown on the oxido-reduction reaction and the hydrolysis reaction.
