CHIRAL RECOGNITION MECHANISM OF b-AMINO ALCOHOLS ON POLYSACCHARIDE-BASED CHIRAL STATIONARY PHASE
The b-amino alcohols are compounds of great interest in synthetic organic chemistry as subunits in many important biologically active natural and synthetic products[1]. Based on their pharmacological action therapeutic activity of these molecules can be divided into three categories: vasoconstrictors, antihypertensive agents and b-blockers [2, 3]. The work presented here deals with a group of chiral b-amino alcohols presented by general structure I.
