Core development for CANopen minimum slave in distributed control systems
This paper deals with the program development for real-time control systems. It shows that some hardware constraints can be overcome by the use of low-level programming language – assembler. Two identical programs, one in C and the other in assembler, were developed using the same data and logical structure. The size and speed of programs were measured and the results compared in terms of system resources, power consumption, electro-magnetic interference and development time and complexity.
