An SBI-ITD Line-Integral representation of the field scattered by a hyperbolic reflector
The Shadow Boundary Integral (SBI) technique provides an efficient representation of the Physical Optics (PO) field radiated by canonical reflector antennas in terms of a line diffraction integral along its rim plus the Geometrical Optics (GO) reflected field. In this paper the PO field from a hyperbolic reflector is augmented by fringe diffraction contributions, provided by the Incremental Theory of Diffraction (ITD). Both the SBI and the ITD representations of the diffracted field consist of distributed incremental contribution, numerically integrated along the edge of the actual object.
