Digital Body Digital 3D Ergonomic Athropometry Of Virtual Worker’ s Model
Anthropometric contribution to ergonomic planning and virtual forming of a working place was presented in a work, by use of a computer and computer program. Further to this a whole row of computer program has been developed which together with incoming data of gender, body heights or statically and dynamically digitalized anthropomeasures, detertmine dimensions of gripping space of a body, as e.g. reach of an arm, leg, head and back position, etc. A large number of dimension differences of individuals appear in dependence on distribution by gender, furthermore by stature and growth, and then in accordance with race, so it is not sufficient to construct working place or form products according to so called an average person. In ergonomic anthropometry it is necessary to discover dimensions of human body which describe mutual relations with working environment during performance of certain working task, furthermore space and timely movement of a body within working environment, and dimensions related to the form of working space and equipment i.e. machine where operation is performed and environment where a worker performs this operation. In modern ergoanthropometry it is necessary to be familiar with man’ s dimensions as an individual in function of statistic distribution, since mean value of certain anthropomeasure is not a complete indicator of relation between a man and a machine, and thus it cannot be basis for constructing and forming in general. By being familiar with anthropometric measures and by application of computer equipment and computer 3D program solutions it is possible to carry out digital simulation of generating working elements and virtual environment with adequante simulation of ergonomic adaptation for each man separately. On the received virtual 3D man’ s model and working place, biomechanic analysis of movement was effected by computer scientific visualisation, based on real correlation in the space of interactivities of an employee and adequate working environment. Using parameters of biomechanic analysis, dynamic anthropomeasures were calculated which are used for simulation character animation. By implementation of 3D character within gripping space of virtual 3D model of a working space it is possibloe to carry out all necessary forming and changes, with possibility to analyse corelation of a man and elements or groups of elements within a working place. It is also necessary to form complete working space in compliance with total criteria of working position and technico-technological requirements, which are very frequently related to anthropometric characteristics of workers. In forming of the total working space it is necessary to connect the following system elements: dimensions of the manipulative space, dimensions of working space of a machine, dimensions and position of managing commands of a machine, dimensions and position of other markings, e.g. operative panels which is used for choosing individual adaptable machine functions, dimensions of clothes and shoes etc. By being familiar with anthropometric measures of a worker and application of computer graphic ergonomically formed working place was modelled.
