Job Satisfaction in Opatija's Restaurants: A Theoretical and Empirical Analysis
The main objective of this study was to identify the level of job satisfaction among restaurant employees and related problem areas. The target population was employees in restaurants located in the Opatija Riviera. The study employed a questionnaire that investigated job satisfaction in terms of: satisfaction with work in present job, satisfaction with present pay, with opportunities for promotion, supervisor, satisfaction with colleagues at work and satisfaction with work in gereral (both single- and multiple-measures of JS). The results supply the basis for the development of new initiatives in job satisfaction management.
