Sažetak
The paper presents a typical example of deterministic modelling of the satellite multipath propagation in populated areas. The simulation of a satellite radio channel is executed by "ray-tracing" and the Uniform Geometrical Theory of Diffraction based method for assumed moderate urban and suburban environment and different polarizations. Derived results regarding the channel transfer function are analyzed by the Fourier Transform procedures. It has been concluded that the behaviour of various propagation channel parameters can be efficiently predicted by using these easily programmable methods.
