Sažetak
Experimental conditions for the preparation of transparent gamma-AlOOH (boemite) films were investigated. Transmission electron microscopy revealed a fibrous morphology of gamma-AlOOH particles. Transparency of the films for visible light was preserved up to 900 oC, while after heating up to 1050 oC the film became white. X-ray powder diffraction showed the transition from gamma-AlOOH (90oC) to gamma-Al2O3 (500 to 900oC)and finnaly to alpha-Al2O3 and theta-Al2O3 (1050 oC). Electrical conductivity of the film was measured.
