Respiratory findings in art students
We studied 117 art sudents in oder to ivestigate the potential effects of toxic agents in the art students environment. Significanty decerased lung function was recorded for FVC, FEF50 AND FEF25. Smokers and nonsmokers had similar reductions of lung function. Art students had significantly higer prevalences repiratory symptoms than medical students. Our date indicated that art students may be at risk of developing cronic respiratory symptoms and lung function changes as result of their exposure and their smoking habits.
