Thermal conductivtiy of some inorganic 1-D systems at the Peierls transition

The thermal conductivtiy of several 1-D inorganic charge density wave compounds has been measured between 320 K and 80 K. The observed features are common for all compounds investigated: a broad minimum in the vicinity of the Peierls transition (Tp) and a small anomaly just below this transition.
