Hormonski učinci na proteine, lipide i fosfolipide u tkivu regenerirajuće jetre štakora

The influence of hormones was investigated on the regenerated liver after partial hepatectomy in rats. Two days after the operation the increase in absolute amount and concentration of proteins, lipids and sphingomyelins was found. Growth hormone, injected on the first postoperative day in the dose of 200 ug/rat, produced an additional increment of protein, lipid phosphatidylcholine and phosphatidylethanolamine content in the regenerating tissue of the liver. Synthetic somatostatin, in the dose of 100 ug/rat produced a diminution of the protein content, and an augmentation of total lipids and phosphatidylethanolamine fraction of phospholipids. The most expressive was the increase of phosphatidylynositols + phosphatidylserins. The results show the changes in the regenerating tissues could be induced by growth hormone and somatostatin.
