Sažetak
The paper analyzes some of the recent technological innovations in information and communication technology (ICT) and the impact of these innovations on communication patterns and methods for delivery of e-learning content. The most influential innovations are related to wireless communication, availability of greater bandwith, and portable PC devices. The innovations in ICT have generated a potential for greater mobility of both the instructor and learner(s) in the e-learning process, and also for an advancement in the delivery format and the content of the e-learning material. These trends are discussed in the contexts of distant methods of academic education and corporate training.
