The paper presents a numerical calculation procedure convenient for solving an elliptical-parabolical problem of heat transfer in turbulent pipe flow. Variable phisical properties and thermal boundary conditions are taken into account. The calculation domain is discretized using a double grid, thus anabling two successive calculation steps. The solution from the first step permits the closing of the local eliptic domain for the second calculation step. This enables the application of the marching solution procedure, usually applied to parabolic problems.
