Composite Timber and Lightweight (EPS) Concrete Constructions

The paper presents the results obtained from three separate experimental testings of composite girders made of timber and lightweight concrete (EPS) and composed with different type of shear connectors. Two continuous types of shear connectors are related to discrete type of shear connector. The advantages of continuous types of composing are shown and emhasized. Also, parametric FEM models of composite girders are presented as recommandation for analysis model since there is no mandatory calculation method in appropriate regulations.
