Analytical Survey of a Wet-Gas Reservoir Fluid Property Data Collected During Production Monitoring
The major part of natural gas production in Croatia comes from Molve gas field. Based on separator production gas-oil ratio during early well testing and several subsequent separator tests of the produced wellstream, the Molve reservoir fluid has been classified as wet-gas type fluid. A number of additional reservoir fluid data have been accumulated as a part of a well production monitoring program, established in a later, advanced phase of production. In this paper, the Molve reservoir fluid data base is examined in terms of separator and wellstream/reservoir fluid compositional and physical property data consistency, reproducibility and accuracy. Well known correlations were used to ascertain (in)adequacy of both separator sampling and laboratory testing procedures, as reflected in the results of the statistical analysis of the data. Most probable sources of errors in specific cases are discussed and possible improvements related to the procedures employed are indicated. Additional reservoir fluid PVT data are needed to enhance the accuracy of EOS-based description of phase behaviour
