Electromagnetic compatibility of electrical and electronic equipment in Hydro Power Plant Zakučac (Croatia)

In 1999 electromagnetic interferences due to switching overvoltages were measured in the Zakučac hydro-electric power plant. The objective of the measurements and their subsequent analyses was to determine the level of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of electronic and power equipment in steady and dynamic operating conditions, to compare the measured results with the data prescribed in EMC standards, to assess the present condition and to propose measures for reduction of these interferences.
