Influence of thread and weave on color values of woven fabrics simulations

Colour values of woven fabrics made of differently coloured threads depend upon the fabric constructional parameters – the threads fineness, density and weave and colour values of warp and weft threads. Common influence of weave and thread density on colour values of woven structure is not precisely defined. That means that the fabrics with identical constructional parameters but different weaves have different colour values on their surface. Moreover colour deviations increase with the changes of threads density. The aim of the researches is to analyse the colour values of woven fabrics in different weave and threads density, to find out to which extent colour values deviate, which colour values they are expressed through and what they depend upon. In experimental work computer simulations printouts were prepared and spectrophotometrical analysis was done. The measurements were carried out on plain weave in different threads density, which was considered as a standard-reference fabric as well as on other plain-like reversible weaves.
