Perioperative treatment of trauma patients with severe comorbidity

Proper surgical procedure is of primary importance in succesful treatment of trauma patients.Early operative reduction and stabilization resolves severe pains, prevents prolonged traumatic shock and multiple organ dysfunction.Advanced age and significant comorbidity reprezent a real burden for recently injured patients and compromise final outcome. Our primary goal in perioperative treatment is improvement of tissue perfusion and maintenance of organ function in trauma patients.
