The aim of our study was to determine the damage of human genome after combined exposure to ionizing radiation, ultrasound and fluorescent dye. The range and distribution of SCE frequencies per cells deviated significantly from the control values (range 2-18 vs control 0-7. Our results draw attention that cytogenetic damage caused by ionizing radiation and ultrasound can be modified by fluorescent dye which may have synergistic or additive mode of action with physical agent.
