An algorithm for solving assembly station overloading in bionic assembly system

This paper presents a distributed planning and control architecture for Bionic Assembly System (BAS). It is also an algorithm to handle with resource overloading proposed. The planning and control architecture is implemented using an agent-based approach with online assembly task allocation and scheduling. A team of autonomous agents with different tasks is deployed to model the flexible assembly system in such a way that the agents negotiate, and cooperate to achieve the goals of assembly tasks.
