Scope of this paper is to present current state of development of Bionic Assembly System. Bionic Assembly System consists of six assembly classes (transport robots, assembly stations, quality control stations, repair, supply and unload station). Presented transport robot architecture is a product of specific task-environment domain and reactive control paradigm. Integration of reactivity and task orientation in managed through tailor made task oriented information distribution and beacon system. Purpose of assembly classes is described on the basis of working scenario of typical situation in assembly structure.
