Experimental and Theoretical Analysis of Natural Frequences of the Dubrovnik Bridge

This paper presents the results of testing natural frequencies of "The Dubrovnik bridge". The measuring was carried out with the help of a very fast A/D converter of PICOLOG-ADC216 type, with a 16-bit resolution, and with PICO-SCOPE software with a FFT analyzer. Theoretical analysis of natural frequencies of the bridge was carried out using the finite element method with the program SOFISTIK. The results are directly compared graphically and tabularly. The compared results show a high level of agreement between theory and the experiment.
