Velocity of drying of corn kernel grown on different levels of agrotechnology for bioetanol production
Research on the influence of applied agrotechnology on the speed of water release, starch content, share of reducing sugars, percentages of glucose and ethanol was conducted on six hybrids belonging to the same vegetation groups with two levels of agrotechnology applied in the process. Research data indicate that the applied agrotechnology did have an effect on the speed of water release, but did not show a consistent influence upon starch content, share of reducing sugars, or percentages of glucose and ethanol. Although certain hybrids release water more quickly, they do not show a higher starch content and ethanol percentage. Consequently, following research should encompass more hybrids and concentrate on specific agrotechnological factors.
Drying; corn; ethanol
