The oldest Neolithic water-well in Croatia from the early Starčevo settlement near Slavonski Brod
The oldest water-well on Croatian territory was discovered at the Early Neolithic settlement of the Starčevo culture near Zadubravlje, about 17 km east of Slavonski Brod. All archaeological finds from the site in question belong to the Linear A phase of the Starčevo culture (around 6.000 B.C.)
