Sažetak
Croatian sample of 36 individuals was analyzed for the polymorphic site in exon 11 of the APC gene by using the molecular tehniques PCR and RFLP. 44% of the analyzed sample is heterozygous for this polymorphic marker. The distribution of the 2 different allels in 20 homozygous individuals is : 70% allele b and 30% allele a. The distribution shows prevalence of the allele b, the one that has a nucleotide sequence recognized by Rsa I restriction enzyme.
