Computer Aided Product Design

This presentation will describe development of plastic product for injection molding with usage of Computer Aided Engineering tools. Injection molding process is the most widely used manufacturing process for production of plastic products. Process is versatile, so it can be used for production of small electronic and medical products or for production of very large automotive or building construction components. New plastic product development process begins with identification of an opportunity. This can be an entirely new idea or one that has been under consideration for some time, such as an improvement of the existing product or the next generation of the existing one.
