Sažetak
The paper deals with potential harmful effects of EM fields onboard a ship. Typical X-band marine navigation radar and 10MHz radio transmitter are analyzed as EMF sources. EM radiation hazards to personnel, ordnance and fuel are discussed. International civil and military standards are considered and compared to the real situation. EMF estimation problems are stated and simplified worst-case analysis is given.
