Stratabound hydrothermal metamorphogenic Ba-Cr-Fe-Cu-Zn deposit of Busovača Central Bosnia
The stratabound Ba-Cr-Fe-Cu-Zn mineralization within the metamprphic complex at Busovača occurs in the Upper-Silurian, Lower Devonian metapelites, metapsamites and metabasites that formed under low grade metamorphism conditions at 350-450°C, and 3 to 5 kbar. The ore minarals are siderite, zinc-rich chromespinel, ferrichromite, magnetite, Mn-ancerite, and sulfides. The gangue minerals are albite, quartz, hylophane, fuchsite and barite. The zoned Cr-spinels, Cr-rich minarals and hyalophane are interpreted as product of retrogressive hydrothermal activity during the final uplift of Dinarides
