Sažetak
The paper gives an introduction to the field of fault detection and isolation in control systems. The major objectives of fault diagnosis modules as the part of the supervisory system are defined. The basic principles of model-based fault diagnosis and the overview of most commonly used methods is presented. The case studies on rudder servosystem FDI modules based on analytical modeling is presented.
