Mathematical model of a submarine dynamics at the periscope depth
A new approach for the mathematical modeling of a submarine dynamics at the periscope depth is presented. In the papers published so far, wave disturbances are modelled by a simple afine form. The main disadvantage of such an approach is a poor correspondence with the real nature of submarine dynamics at the periscope depth. Using the proposed approach this disadvantage is avoided. A model of vertical plane submarine dynamics is presented with the first and the second wave force disturbances. These forces are recognised as the Froude-Kriloff and diffraction forces. The mathematical analysis of the nature of these forces is not the goal of the paper, and it is restricted to their treatment from the control design point of view. An algorithm of non-linear regression for the rationalisation of the sub-surface sea spectrum, described by the Pierson-Moskowitz expression, is given in the paper. The results of the computer simulation are presented.
