A preliminary report on accumulation of some inorganic anions in the Pinus halepensis Mill.needles (Pinaceae) from the region of Split

Accumulation of sulphate, chloride and fluoride anions has been studied spectrophotometrically. The examination has shown markedly increased anion concentrations in the needles from the polluted sites, which are, nevertheless, stil with in the range of the rates allowed for land plants.
