"Ut matrimonium libere et licite contrahere possint" - Papal 14th and 15th century matrimonial dispensations

The paper aims at presenting the matrimonial disepnsation letter issued by the Papal Curia functioning from Avignon during the period of the Avignonese obedience (1305-1378), and the period of the Great Schism (1378-1417), Rome (Great Schism and most of the 15th century), Constance, Basel, Florence (during the Sessions of the respective Councils) and other smaller Italian towns as the popes moved around.
