THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL PROBLEMS OF UP-TO-DATE STABILITY ANALYSIS OF STEEL STRUCTURES
Concerning the commentary to the Load and Resistance Factor Design Criteria (LRFD) of AISC Specification as an improved approach to the design of structural steel for buildings, the general principles of Eurocodes 3 and 4 (EC-3 and EC-4) are compared with theirs theoretical and practical background. The analysis of steel beams and other flexural members in bending, shear and combined bending and shear is researched with theirs stability problems in connection with the development of LRFD criteria and Eurocode 3 for structural steel members.
