Culture as a factor in rising the quality of the tourist supply in the Croatian tourism

The importance of culture and entertainment has been elaborate in this work a positive development of Croatian tourism and rising its quality. From a philosofical point of view entertainmnet and culture make possible the non-alienation of humans and from the economical point of view it improves the international economic relations, tourist and general consumption and with this also production. Condicted surveys by the authors during summer 2001 and 2002, say that on the Croatian part of the Adriatic, culture is still sufficiently presented in the tourist supply, although the selective approach is not enough visible. Howewer, besides the fact that the historical-cultural objects are in insufficiently maintained, the cultural supply is not adequately presented neither promoted in the foreign lanaguage and even worse is with the tourist promotion. Besides thos, average foreign tourist that are visiting Croatia are not sufficciently interested for the culture-art supply of croatia, which again is mainly presented in the Croatian language without entertainment and adequate conduct. Therefore Croatia has to do more on promotion and promotionl activities to attract segments of tourists that will actively consume the supply of culture and art.
