New Research and Technology of Plastic Metal and Alloy Forming
This paper first presents the direction for the research of the plastic metal and alloy forming in the world today. The development of new products and technologies is nowdays based on simulation testing methods. Multy-level simulation is more and more applied with the consideration of local physical metallurgical appearances. That is the results of physical modeling are required first and computer simulation has been used to a large exteent recently. There is also the application of physical simulation for time flow control and employment of efficiency signs of thermomechanical parameters. These directions of plastic forming technology emphasize the combination of two or more process stages of quite different character. They are also acknowledged in the development of the technologies of CSP (Compact Strip Production), ISP (Inline Strip Production) and CPR (Casting, Pressing, Rolling9 etc.
