Croatian paleontology on WWW (Internet)

World Wide Web (WWW) is a powerful media for quick transfer of informations and data among interested research groups. Therefore, Croatian Ministry of Science and Technology has encouraged and sponsored distribution of all recent scientific and related informations by the WWW via CARnet (Croatian Academic and Research Network) which is available at URL: http://www.carnet.hr/docs_html/nivo1/index.html. Thus, reports on all scientific projects funded by this Ministry were posted on the net, already two years ago. That was followed by posting of University home-pages and lately the Internet-based exhibition "Science in Croatia". All major scientific journals are represented by their home-pages, and some also provide their Contents and abstracts of recent papers. Since the Web is explosively expanding over the last few years, not all of this presentations are equally elaborated, and the contents will be updated and revised in the future. WWW world(s) is not decently organized, and so many of us waste precious time on search for sites of interest, especially if no links were provided by someone else. To ease search for Croatian paleontology data we have provided here a brief review of WWW sites and some useful addresses.
