Heat transfer analisys on artificially rough surfaces

Article presents the results of the research of friction resistance and heat transfer in artificial channels with rough surfaces, all with the intent to determinate heat transmission changes depending on the flow conditions. For the wide flow area, the dependence of friction resistance and heat transfer with empirical formulas and criterion equations has been determined. The results of the research allow, besides the understanding of the flow process, and the application in the design of various types of heat exchangers.
