Calculation of Surface Roughness by Milling with Cilindrical Cutter

Surface roughness by milling with cylindrical cutter is determined in technical literature, as so as in university textbooks, relatively very infrequently. The problem is usually simplified, so there are introduced simplified relations for calculations of theoretical surface roughness by milling with cylindrical cutters (calculation of parameter Rz ). In this contribution we present improved calcul of not only parameter Rz , but also parameter Ra .
