Posible origins of spin glass transition in a U low doped YRu2Si2

We report on resistivity and thermopower measurements of the YbIn1-xAg-xCu4 alloy system (x &#8805 ; 0.5). It is shown that the thermopower is in a nice agreement with the susceptibility results. The resistivity data indicate that the Kondo temperature of the lowest lying ground state levels, TKl, increases with increasing x what is an unexpected behaviour for the Yb+3 ion since the lattice constant decreases with x. On contrary, the Kondo temperature of the all ground state levels, TKh, decreases with increasing x for x > 0.5. We discuss these behaviours and suggest possible explanations.
