An Accounting Analysis About the Deposit-Credit Function and its Influence on Bank's Economic Status, on Example the Croatian Banking System

An accounting analysis about the deposit-credit function and its influence on bank's economic status on example of the Croatian economy was executed in this study. Within the sense of this theme, the balance interconnection between elements was worked out and then expressed in a formal and balance mode. The deposit and credit function is connected to realization of certain passive or active interest rate, i.e. outcomes and incomes. The equilibrium state in the balance of accounts presumes a certain rate of success, that is, making profit from a bank's business activity or even from the entire banking system. This is one of the several conditions necessary to assure the continuous and long-term development of banking system. Some indicators of success inside the Croatian banking system were established during the study.
