PRIMERJAVA OPTIČNIH EMISIJSKIH SPEKTROV RF PLAZME V DUŠIKU IN ZRAKU
Emissivity from nitrogen and air plasma was monitored. Plasma was created in glass tube with an inductively coupled RF generator with the frequency of 13.56 MHz and the output power of 120W. Vacuum system was pumped with a roots and a rotational pumps. Pressure during experiments was between 10 and 100 Pa. Plasma spectrum was detected with a 60 cm optical emission spectrometer MDR23-Lomo and S2000- OceanOptics. In the wavelength range between 350 and 800 nm a rich spectrum of nitrogen molecules was observed and explained with N2 potential curves. In the spectrum of air plasma only the lines characteristic for pure nitrogen were observed and no oxygen lines were detected. The lack of oxygen lines in air spectrum was explained with collision phenomena in plasma.
