The dynamic load pressure on the combine harvester cylinder

The acceleration results have been acquired by measuring the vibrations on the threshing cylinder bearers og the combine harvester. The dynamic vertical load pressure is determined in the way that the cylinder's mass is multiplied by the acceleration. The analysis of the results obtained showed that the acceleration (and the load pressure) of the threshing cylinder during the optimum grain mass flow increases four times in comparison to the empty drum work. It has been confirmed that the vertical acceleration can be approximated by means of a linear function dependant on the grain mass flow.
