Iskop jugozapadnog platoa građevinske jame WTC-a u Rijeci
the digging out of the SW part of the construction excavation of the WTC in Rijeka is being cnducted by blasting as the most low-priced energy. The construction excavation is situated in close proximity of the residential buildings in J.P.Kamov street and D.G. street and that is a problem, because the blasting causes oscillations of the ground (earthquakes), air impacts and scattering of the material. Because of that is necessary to adjust the demanding but low-budget mining works to the every-day-life of the residents of J.P.Kamov street and D.G. street and heavy traffic on the busy street of Radnička cesta. That is why it is indispensable to set limits to the speed of the ground oscillation to 1, 0 cm/s and to conduct seismic control measuring for each blasting. Special attention should be paid to the blast-fields which are closer to the residential buildings. In this study, drilling and blasting magnitudes of blasting, speed of ground oscillation and power of air impacts have been analyzed and compared with planned, experimental and production blasting and surveys.
