Dvori hrvatskih vladara u Biskupiji kraj Knina
At the locality of Crkvina of Biskupija, in the vicinity of the Knin Fortress, there was unearthed a large early-Medieval architectural complex consisting of the three-vessel church of St. Mary with narthex and a complex of buildings attached to the church and the narthex at their northern side. It is assumed that at Crkvina in the end of the 8th and the first half of the 9th ct. there were built a sovereign edifice that included the church of St. Mary (capella palatina), a mausoleum with westwork and a residential-farming complex (villa, palatio), as residential facilities of most of the then Croatian sovereigns.
