Upravna zgrada groblja Mirogoj (Aleja Hermanna Bolléa 27, Zagreb). Povijest gradnje, valorizacija i prijedlog konzervatorskih smjernica
Today's building of city administrative office Gradska groblja, is former residence of the cemetery administrator, built from the ground up in 1889/1890, not far from Ljudevit Gaj's summer house. The construction work was carried out by the building company of Vjekoslav Šafranek and Robert Wiesner. The interior of the house has a spatial organization characteristic of residential buildings built in the last two decades of the 19th century in Donji Grad, with a deep entrance hall. (which leads to the spiral staircase in the back part of the house and whose three-sided volume emerges from the surface of the back wall) and with larger and more representative rooms in the front part. Although there have been a number of changes in its interior over time, they are all reversible, and the original organization of the space characteristic of the end of the 19th century is still clearly legible to a large extent. With its volume, position and design, the administration building of the City Cemeteries is valuable part of the ensemble of Mirogoj architecture.
