To believe with the power of the Absurd. Philosophical and poetic meditations on Kierkegaard's understanding of faith
In this contribution, the authors offer a philosophical and poetic meditation on Kierkegaard's concept of faith, especially trying to see what role the faith plays in the formation of one's own existence. All relevant Kierkegaard philosophical concepts such as absurdity, anxiety and freedom are taken into consideration. The authors conclude that the individual in his freedom is the subject of faith. Kierkagaard's Christianity thus leaves all the institutional frameworks and as such is conceivable exclusively as a path for the individual existence.
Kierkegaard, faith, absurdity, Christianity, freedom, existence
