Społeczne źródła faszyzmu. Lekcje Klary Zetkin z 1923 roku
In 1923 Clara Zetkin was sixty-six years old. Back then, as same as today, she was well known as a prominent figure in the German and international workers' movement, most notably in the struggles women’s workers' movement, and was one of the Comintern’s key persons. Even though we remember her mostly because of her irreplaceable role as the central figure in the communist and revolutionary women’s movement, there is also a part of her analytical work that needs to be more emphasised – her political analysis of fascism. Following Zetkin’s 1923 report and resolution on fascism presented to the Third Enlarged Plenum of the Communist International's Executive Committee we will a) try to point out what are – according to Zetkin – the key features of fascism and then b) we will summarize her discussion on working-class fight against fascism and her critique of the liberal forces suggesting that “if fascist figures are ignored, they will go away.” Besides presenting Zetkin’s in-depth analysis of fascism written with a such clarity and foresight, we will make a shorter introduction by including some of the more-or-less recent discussions on the problem of fascism which share certain conclusions with Zetkin’s 1923 report.
