Sažetak
Analysis of the deuterium isotope effect in the gas phase ligation of Nb+ by pyrene (Pn) whereby a hydrogen molecule is rapidly released from NbPn+ indicates that the effect for the dehydrogenated product formation depends on experimental conditions and amounts 1.2-1.4. A tentative reaction mechanism is proposed.
