Komorbiditet shizofrenije i Parkinsonove bolesti - Prikaz slučaja
Comorbidity is one of the most significant challenges in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in clinical medicine, but also in scientific research and nosology. The occurrence of comorbidity that is secondary syndrome or disease raises the question of whether it is an accidental phenomenon, whether there may be a causal relationship with the primary disorder or whether it is simply synchronicity. Schizophrenia and Parkinson's disease are progressive and degenerative diseases of the central nervous system with overlapping neurobiological etiopathogenesis of dopaminergic system disorders. In schizophrenia, symptoms appear depending on the hypo or hyperactivity of dopamine, while in Parkinson's disease the syndrome is caused by hypodopaminergia. Regardless of early recognition, personalized treatment and duration of both diseases, the treatment outcome is very unfavorable due to the irreversible death of nerve cells of the dopaminergic system.
