Brothers Seljan in Ethiopia - Researches and/or adventurers

The Seljan brothers were researchers and adventurers as well but they were also business people - on their trip to Ethiopia they pursued a career and, we can assume with certainty, earned money. They were a part of the European presence in Africa in the 19th century. Although their articles in "Prosvjeta" are informative, they are also retrospective and introspective. In fact, the Seljan brothers reported about having to live in this remote and - for most Croatians and Europeans - "exotic" and unreachable country, but also about their personal past. They described whole tribes and distinguished persons as well.
